Kosher Truck Delights Taste Buds in #NYC - Quick Stop Kosher

Quick Stop Kosher truck , run by Belgian born Ari Thaler, offers a small variety of kosher grub including Paninis, Tuna Sandwiches, Falafel (of Moshe’s Falafel), and of course – Belgian Waffles.

There is obviously no address for this kosher eatery, but it can found somewhere in NYC (typically Midtown), and can be tracked down by visiting their site, Facebook page, or Twitter acct: @QuickStopKosher. View Full Article

I'll Take Belgian Waffles With My Falafel, Please

At lunchtime on a street corner on the west side of Manhattan, a spot not typically known for its cuisine, people with palates from East and West line the sidewalk for one thing — falafel.

Customers at the Quick Stop truck, a “Moving Kosher Experience”, hungrily accept their large pita sandwiches stuffed to the brim with falafel balls, fresh vegetables, sauces and a baby pickle from the hands of a jovial fellow with a bushy red beard. It’s easy to infer that Ari Thaler is the owner of the kosher food truck because a caricature of him, complete with a big grin, a rotund figure and a purple-and-white suit, is painted on the side of the truck. Quick Stop Kosher Cart found on Park Avenue South!

Funny thing happened on the way to work today.  I took a different route than my normal one in order to get a haircut, when he was too busy I left and stumbled upon this amazing kosher cart parked at the northwest corner of 23rd and Park Avenue!  Quick Stop Kosher‘s menu ranges from a full line of breakfast sandwiches (eggs, bagels, omelettes) to coffees, falafels (he says it is Moshes Falafel, his cart seems to have disappeared so many this is the replacement?), salads, french fries and something new, WAFFLES!
